Whether teaching and learning happens online or on campus, the Centre for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL) has the expertise you need to effectively integrate technology in and outside the classroom.
In addition to making a variety of technologies available to the Memorial community, CITL provides a selection of services and support for the use of educational technologies at Memorial:
Classroom Support - designs, installs and maintains multimedia classrooms and learning spaces across the St. John's Campus. Training and support are provided. Not teaching in a multimedia classroom? Portable media carts and equipment rentals are also available.
Media Services - a team of media producers, production technologists and multimedia specialists works closely with in-house instructional designers and faculty members to create media that enhance the teaching and learning experience. Event live production and webcast services also available.
Teaching and Learning Exchange - Our Teaching and Learning Exchange (ED-1001) is a collaborative classroom space where educators and instructional staff can enhance their teaching practice and discover best practices for integrating educational technologies into their courses.
Technology Resources - Access a variety of resources, including how-to guides and video tutuorials, to guide you through the technical side of teaching. Resources are available for Brightspace (D2L), Online Rooms, Capture (lecture and web) student response systems (clickers) and more.
