Information Technology Services (ITS) has begun the process to upgrade Memorial’s VPN remote access services. The next phase of this is moving to a modernized two-factor login for those who access VPN using connect.mun.ca. ITS is reminding these VPN users to follow directions that were recently sent by email to install a new app, which will push notifications to phones versus the historical SMS codes that are texted to phones. The existing service will stop functioning on April 5, so immediate action is required to ensure no interruption of service.
