ITS Service Desk

ITS has a planned network outage on Dec. 19 and 20 to do upgrades to the network.

On Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020 the outage is anticipated between 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (some functionality may return sooner) and will impact the wired, wireless and VoIP telephony for the following buildings/campuses:

• 202 Elizabeth Avenue - Environmental Science Graduate Program
• 4 Clark Place
• 6 Clark Place - Digital Research Centre for Qualitative Fieldwork Faculty of Arts
• 95 Bonaventure Avenue - Applied Health Research
• Botanical Gardens
• Henrietta Harvey building - Math, Math server room, IT Services, Maritime History Archive, and ACENET offices
• Ingstad Building - Printing Services
• Johnson Geo Centre
• Labrador Institute
• Lambs Lane - Alumni Affairs and Development
• Mt. Scio - Biology, ISER Books, N&L Studies
• Ocean Sciences Centre
• Signal Hill Campus (excluding Residence)
• Southcott Hall and Miller Centre
• Tiffany Court - School of Pharmacy
• Vivarium - Animal Care Services

This work will also cause an outage to the following services:

• The guest wireless hotspot @Memorial-Guest (not @Memorial)
• Two factor Cisco Anyconnect VPN

On Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020 the outage will occur from 9 a.m. until approximately 9 p.m. The network outage will impact the wired, wireless, and VoIP telephony within the Henrietta Harvey building. This includes Math (but not the Math server room), IT Services, the Maritime History Archive, and ACENET offices. It impacts wired network wall plates beginning HH2.1 and HH3.1.
