ITS Network Maintenance
Planned network outage St. John’s campus, Oct. 11. ITS is planning an important network upgrade on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020, which will impact many areas of St. John’s campus. An outage planned between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. will impact MUNet network services on St. John’s north campus. Buildings impacted will be those north of Prince Philip Dr. including S.J. Carew, Business, University Centre, Utilities Annex and C-Core. Health Sciences Centre, Faculty of Medicine and Animal Resource Centre will not be impacted. The network outage includes wired computers/servers and labs using network wall plates, server rooms, VoIP telephones, elevator phones, faxes, remote desktop (RDP) access, email, internet access and wireless. There will be no need to power off equipment, and connectivity will return automatically after the work is complete.
