Microsoft 365: Teams, OneDrive, Outlook and Bookings Training Overview
This comprehensive training session is designed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge for optimizing their use of key Microsoft 365 services. The course will focus on enhancing productivity and collaboration. Throughout the day, participants will engage in interactive activities with applied learning. This training is aimed at empowering attendees with the knowledge to leverage key services in the Microsoft 365 suite to help better enable a secure, efficient, productive and collaborative working environment.
Key Learnings:
- Security: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Organization: Naming conventions for Microsoft Groups and Teams sites.
- MS Teams: Teams site request process, collaboration features (Posts, announcements, hosting meetings), setup for students, navigating multiple environments, chat and post retention policies, managing information, storage quotas, integration with Outlook, Planner, Lists and other tools, and best practices for meetings.
- OneDrive: Sharing permissions, quota management, the process for requesting additional storage, file syncing.
- Outlook: Hosting meetings, calendar management, contacts, to-do lists, quotas, scheduling polls, managing delegated calendars, shared mailboxes, recovering deleted items.
- Bookings: Using a "Book with Me" page for scheduling.
