Illegal Drugs
Memorial University does not condone the use of illegal drugs. In addition to Federal drug laws, the Student Code of Conduct outlines drug offences as possessing illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia, whether it be for personal use or intent to traffic and/or distribution or trafficking in prescription drugs.
Students will be held accountable as per the regulations in the Student Code of Conduct and will be referred to the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary for charges relating to federal laws.
Campus Enforcement and Patrol Officers are equipped with naloxone kits and are trained to administer Naloxone to counteract the effects of an opioid overdose.
