Julia Mullaley has had a diverse, 30 year career in the public service and is a past recipient of the Public Service Award of Excellence.

Since 2020, she has served as chief executive officer of Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation. Ms. Mullaley previously held positions as the auditor general for Newfoundland and Labrador, clerk of the Executive Council and secretary to cabinet, deputy minister of the former departments of Advanced Education and Skills, and Municipal Affairs, and various other executive roles. She is a proud member of the public service and has dedicated her career to serving the residents throughout our beautiful province.

Ms. Mullaley graduated with a bachelor of commerce (co-operative) degree from Memorial University in 1989, followed by a Chartered Accountant professional designation (CPA, CA) in 1991 and more recently, the Institute of Corporate Directors designation (ICD.D).

Over the years, she has actively volunteered with many community and not-for-profit organizations. Ms. Mullaley grew up in St. George’s and moved to Mount Pearl in 1993, where she and her husband Cyril proudly raised their four children.
