Dec. 10, 2024: On Dec. 9, President Neil Bose hosted an employee town hall to hall to provide all employees with additional information and answer their questions regarding the university’s budget. The recording is now available online. You can view the recording here.
Dec. 6, 2024: President Neil Bose published a message to the university community regarding the Board of Regents approval of new initiatives aimed at addressing the projected funding shortfall.
They are:
- A limited hiring program
- A restriction on the use of carryover funds
- Further development of a new budget model
On Monday, Dec. 9, from 2-3 p.m. (NST)/2:30-3:30 (AST), there will be a virtual town hall to share information related to recent budget initiatives for Memorial University employees. Hosted by President Neil Bose, faculty and staff are invited to learn more about Memorial’s budget process. A Newsline was sent to all employees with a link to register.
