2023 Seasonal Nature Tots

Nature Tots

This toddler & adult program includes stories, songs, duck feeding (tentative due to avian flu), and a stroll through our gardens and trails. This is an outdoor program. The trail is stroller accessible and the program is breastfeeding friendly.
This program is ideal for little ones who are walking (~1yr) up to 5 years old.

Nature Tots sessions are available as a drop-in program. Payments can be made at the door for $15, or you are able to purchase Nature Tots session passes online, as a single session, five sessions, or 15 sessions.

Session passes CAN be transferable, but must be used in the 2023 season. The program runs rain or shine, but may be cancelled in extreme weather.

Offered for three time slots:

Friday Morning:  10:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.

Friday Afternoon: 1:00 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.

Saturday Morning:  10:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.

We always listen to the requests of patrons, so if you would like to suggest another day or time of day we should hold this program please email us at bgprograms@mun.ca. We need a minimum number of registrants to make a program financially viable for us but if we collect your names and find we have enough we will do our best to hold a program at that time!

On the day of your program:

Please bring:

  • a snack and drink for your child(ren)
  • appropriate clothing for the weather

Optional things to bring:

  • a stroller for children who are not comfortable walking for the duration of the program
  • if you are not comfortable using ours: a blanket, bummer, or kneeling pad to sit on during story/snack time
