Tertiary structure of tRNA
The two lateral
loops fold back on each other to form an inverted "L"
shape, with the anticodon loop below. This allows the aminoacyl
tRNA synthetase to bind both the anticodon
loop [below]and the amino acceptor stem
[above, right].
