Risk-at-age curve for Huntington Disease
The three
curves show, for any given CAG repeat length, the mean ± 1 s.d. of the age of
disease onset. Blue dots show the range of onset. Mean
"Juvenile onset" (20 yrs) occurs at 44 copies, "late onset"
(40 yrs) at 37 copies. In both cases, onset may be as early as
the mid-teens.
