I conduct research on the different species of members of the Phylum Tardigrada in the province. I am also completing work on several Newfoundland field guides, and a university-level science teaching book.

I do research in animal physiology with a focus on fish reproduction. I also have an interest in echinoid (urchin) function, particularly the role of coelomic cells.
