Our new assistant professor Daria Boltokova has had her work profiled by the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage. In collaboration with colleagues in Yakutsk and the University of Chicago, and with the support of the Smithsonian, Dr. Boltokova is organizing an innovative media school as part of ongoing efforts to engage Indigenous Sakha youth in the Sakha language.
