The President’s Golden Celebration recognizes alumni who are celebrating 50 or more years of graduation from Memorial University. Hosted by Memorial's president and vice-chancellor, this invitation-only event features entertainment, a reception and the acceptance of a commemorative 50 year alumni pin. It's a chance to catch up with old friends, reminisce about days gone by and have a few laughs.

This year, we welcome the class of 1976 into the fold while welcoming back all previous and/or missed pin recipients who would like to attend.  

The event details are as follows:

• Date: Sunday, Oct. 25, 2026
• Time: 2:30 - 5 p.m.
• Location: School of Music, D.F. Cook Recital Hall, 7 Phelan Road
• Parking: Free parking
