The Centennial 100

Last fall, we launched a call for nominations for The Centennial 100, a campaign that celebrates the people who have had or are having an indelible impact on shaping what Memorial is today, and what it will be moving forward.

Nominations poured in, and we’re proud to present the inaugural group of The Centennial 100 – the builders, champions, creators and innovators whose work and leadership help tell the story of Memorial.

We’re continuing to call on our community to nominate individuals for The Centennial 100 — an extraordinary group of people who’ve shaped our university over the past century, and those who will guide our next 100 years.

If you know someone who should be included in The Centennial 100, whose story must be told, nominate them now.

Join us in celebrating the individuals who’ve helped inform Memorial’s values and made us shine.

Call for Nominations

Nominations for The Centennial 100 should be completed using the online form.

The Centennial 100 is open to anyone affiliated with Memorial University, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, retirees, partners, donors and supporters.

When possible, provide your nominee’s contact information (phone number, email).

There’s no nomination deadline, but we encourage everyone to submit early. We’re announcing The Centennial 100 throughout 2025 so stay tuned to our social channels and our website!

Final selections will be made by a special committee, and only selected nominees may be contacted.

The Centennial 100 is a great opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to Memorial University's 100th anniversary in 2025.

We can’t wait to share your stories.
