I am applying under the Access Act for the following records:
Since January 1, 2007 to present, briefing notes, studies, risk assessments, surveys undertaken on oil spills incidents or possibilities off the coast of Newfoundland and Labrador. Include both those caused by oil rigs, ships or other means.
Include the effect on wildlife such as seabirds and marine mammals. Include the methodology Canadian Wildlife Services uses or suggests using in reviewing the impact of oil spills on wildlife such as seabirds and marine mammals.
Include all interim or final reports done on the September 9, 2008 White Rose spill, including by outside agencies,companies or consultants. Include the Dave G. Taylor progress and final report, an ecologist consultant report done for Husky Energy on this incident and summaries done on that report. Include the number of birds and marine animals in the region of the oil spill and estimated numbers of such sea animals affected. Include as well media lines prepared on the incident. Include whether any migratory birds act charges were considered or laid and actions to date.
