Admissions
Application for admission
The next application deadline date is February 1, 2025, for Fall 2025 admissions.
Each September the School aims to admit approximately 40 new students to the Entry-to-Practice PharmD program. Priority is given to applicants who are residents of Newfoundland and Labrador. Normally, 35 seats are offered to residents of Newfoundland (NL). Of the 35 seats, one seat is reserved for an Indigenous applicant from NL. The remaining five seats are open to non-residents of NL, including international applicants.
The Admissions Committee selects applicants who exhibit strong academic capabilities, demonstrate the qualities and skills necessary to be an effective pharmacist, and display a commitment to a career in pharmacy.
Application fee
In addition to Memorial University's general application fee, the School of Pharmacy PharmD application fee is $125 for Canadian applicants and $175 for international applicants. Application fees are charged upon submission of the online application.
Tuition
Memorial University offers one of the lowest tuition fees when compared to other pharmacy programs across Canada. Costs associated with the Program are available here.
